Nikkor 45 GN and D200

The old Nikkor 45mm GN "pancake" makes a great combo with the D200. It has an excellent center sharpness, a great bokeh and very nice color rendering and ... it is very compact. It a all metal lens, very solidly put together, with an awkward focusing action that accommodates the automatic diaphragm coupling. If you're thinking about getting one, just be careful that you buy a factory AI converted one, otherwise you will damage your camera. Now, don't forget the excellent Nikon E series 50mm f/1.8 lens! It performs better than the 45GN, but from time to time, I like to shoot with this exotic pancake lens...

Couldn't get the link to work. Anyway, just got hold of an old GN 45mm f/2.8 myself and I sure love the lens!
